May I see a picture of the other end ?
ONLY if there is a "piece" other than the links.

These where usual used for a type of wagon "hook" at times. ?
For hanging pots and buckets and such. ?
Some one else here may be able to recognize this... I am sure.
IF my mem serves me...
Which it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't :)

The "T" link was a way to anchor, or pull with a chain. It was used for many things. It makes changing implements easier. Tony
Ps. There was a post a while back with a picture of these chains.

So true trdking, I heard a story about some wagons that burned in the area of where I found this, and if it this is old then I know I'm at the right spot and will do some more searching.

Having in-focus pics to look at would be a great help.
Do you have another camera besides your cell phone?

My guess is that it's a chain used in logging.

"Those toggles were pretty much universal. They were used for countless applications from wagon wheels to dog collars to kettle hangers and a gazillion more."
