Err ok well I am not ready for self driving cars... :icon_pale:

"Several days ago, a Tesla Model S ran into a highway barrier at a construction zone near Dallas, after it failed to recognize the roadway and merge into another lane. The result: an unhappy driver and a mangled car. Conveniently, it was all caught on the dashcam of the car behind.

wow... my 1987 R10 has the same tech... only back in the old days they just called it cruise control.. haha!

This nonsense is going to get people killed.

You understand that autopilot and cruise control are NOT the same thing, right?

Well at lest the Tesla model S wasn't talking on its cell phone, reading the paper, putting on make up, or ogling the car next to it.....then again maybe it was!

I only see Driver Error.

The car is not a Human Being who should have taken a Drivers Exam
and have a brain and pair of eyes.

Drivers Fault not the cars.

other then the fact Manufacturers should not call it autopilot.
the phrase "autopilot" fools morons into thinking they can multi task or snooze
while driving.

Tesla has been rolling out updates to its second-generation Autopilot system, the updates will eventually pave the way for Tesla cars to become fully autonomous later down the road.

cars and other "machines" can not "think" the same way a properly educated paying attention human driver does ...the real problem is stupid not proper thinking lazy humans who want a "machine" to think for them and just do the task ..so that they do not have to "work and think about stuff"...dolts
