Yep, now it's there, and that is really neat.

Dolphins will play with anything in the water, a leaf, a stick, human garbage... failing that, they play with bubbles.

Such intelligent creatures. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for that tlroom.
I LOVE Dolphins, et al. I've had the privelege of swimming with them and otherwise meeting many of them.

A friend mailed that movie to me recently. The rings aren't Air Rings as such. The Dolphin sets up a ring of vortex in the water and blows some air into it, which makes it visible. Look how the rings behave - air bubble rings would just rise to the surface.
Watch the dolphins' head when they first form the ring, there's a distinct 'nod'. Then a puff of air from their blowhole. I wonder if sonar is also involved?
How they can break off the smaller vortex is equally astonishing.

Beautiful !
I bet our finned friends are sad at what homosapiens are doing to the oceans.

Fascinating! Not just the wonderful creatures, but 1/3 of the way through that video I think New Hampshire can see where "The Old Man of the Mountain" went.
