Found these in my concrete lawn today, Yes I know there is an address on it but it is my address, the owner is deceased (1982) and I thought it was neat finding them in the same spot. No Bones. I have found several broken pieces of dog chains, collars, clips, 3 of those things you screw into the ground to tie them too and dog tags as old as 1955. These today really had me excited. My house is 114 years old and my yard never stops giving. Only buried animal I ever found was a cat buried by the old horse barn out back which I promptly reburied and avoid always. I found some other things but these were the most interesting. I can't wait for spring because digging concrete like ground is no fun and I am pretty sure I will be limping tomorrow after the abuse my knees took digging these things out. They were about 5-8 inches down. I am not sure exactly because the first was in a plug that came out and the 2nd was sticking out of the edge of the hole and frozen in the ground. Anyways Happy Hunting and I am glad I could finally get out on my day off even though it was not anywhere near easy to dig through snow, ice, and frozen ground.

Nice finds and persistence digging through ice...you have more gumption than I do--and now since we all know where you live, don't be surprised if we come knocking on your door to go for a hunt some time

Lol If you are going to hunt here, be prepared for so much Iron that you could make a tank out of it ;) I have worked this yard for 2 years and still working on cleaning all the garbage, Iron, pull tabs, cans, and shredded matchbox cars out of it hahaha! I wonder if I can make a lil $$ on the side selling pieces to matchbox cars that need repaired, or selling scrap junk to hoarders ;)

Good finds, way to tuff it out.

Now, when you find that 10 million dollar hoard from the Philadelphia mint. They'll know right where to send the bill. LOL

Nice finds! Congrats on getting out and digging (chipping) the frozen tundra!

Thank you Msbeepbeep! Hopefully when we get a thaw...if we do.. I can blow Tnet up with finds like I used to. There is only so much I can take digging through snow, ice, frozen ground before I tire out. My hunts have went from several hours to 1-3 because of this. That 15 dollar shovel from Lowes I have nicknamed ( The Ground Slayer) has stood up through all this mess on the east coast here in PA. But the Ground Slayer is hungry and my Beeper is famished. Hope to be posting non stop soon!
