Dog tag?

I found this in a footer that was dug for a building ant my dads. I ran my whites up the side of the walls of the footer. This would have been about 13in. Sorry pic is so big all i have is a scanner.

Cool find what ever it is.

When you are scanning you should be able to do some cropping in your scanning program. Or there are many photo editign softwares out there that are free to get and easy to use. I am sure someone will toss the info for one to you.

The thing at the top right is a dogs head. When i found it there was a chain on it that was broke. There was about 1.5in left of it and it was solid. Not like a link chain it was round and would only bend one way. I was told by a old man that lives by my dad that it might be a medal for a special dog like in war. I cant find anything that looks like it on the net. Thanks for looking.
