✅ SOLVED Does the star mean anything?

I found this at an old home site. Made of some copper alloy I believe. It's about 1 1/4" long. Does anyone know approximate age and if the star on the head means anything special? Maybe used on copper flashing? Hopefully, someone can "nail" this one for me!

I think those type nails were ones typically used on slate tile roofs or terra cotta roofing
But it would also make sense for their use in copper elements on a roof, eaves , etc

I believe the star is a makers mark... They made rivets too, which I have some of... somewhere

-I realize these are rivets, not nails, but the same mark on copper hardware is likely not coincidental
