Does sterling rust? and some nice gold

Only when an rusted and wet iron refrigerator clip is left in it for years and everything gets taped up. Whole flat of mostly sterling for $25. Weighs a bit over 300 grams, but that includes the sterling and glass lid. No one wanted to mess with the sterling items cause they were dirty and looked rusted out. Also some weighted sterling shakers in box too and old German sterling scissors. Got it all soaking in vinegar to finish up the cleaning. Some Gorham, RLB, and S Kirk and Sons. Also got some very nice 10k gold rings and a 14k gold Walt Disney Bambi earrings in box. Picked up an unmarked 14k gold hat pin with tiger's eye with some other nice hat pins. Trying to ID the pocket watch case. I don't think its sterling, but its got very nice detail to it. Haven't found it yet googling pictures. Pretty good day for feeling sick most of the day.

Good scores, congrats. The piece with the handle looks like a porringer (aka bleeding bowl). I believe the "lid" thing is a coaster. What is the Kansas City thing? A box? I like that amethyst cluster ring too.

After a soak in vinegar overnight everything brand new. Here's what I found on the brush. I thought it was junk but apparently it isn't Hake's - 1909 KANSAS CITY “P.O.P.” PRIESTS OF PALLAS BALL COMMEMORATIVE CLOTHING BRUSH.
