Re: does anyone use a "ProHandle"

Looks like a good idea..appears to be adjustable which is a big plus!

Re: does anyone use a "ProHandle"

From what I have heard, from others is the pro handle is also sold at Home Depot. I went last week and didn't find it but will keep looking. I want to put my hands on one before purchasing to see if it will stand up against the weight / stress / abuse it will encounter on my monster scoop!

Re: does anyone use a "ProHandle"

I JUST BOUGHT A GOOD USED DIAMOND SCOOP AND THE GUY LET THE PRO HANDLE GO WITH IT. I LOVE IT. YOU CAN MAKE ADJUSTMENT ON THE HANDLE FOR DIFFRENT DEGREE OF ANGLE. THE SCOOP IS ALITTLE HEAVY BUT THE HANDLE MAKE UP FOR THE DIFFRENT :icon_thumleft:

imo kellyco has them way over priced. I have another handle I bought at a hardware store around $9 works great. I love the handle on mine so yeah a handle on the scoop is nice to have.

Re: does anyone use a "ProHandle"

About a year ago me an MTpockets were looking for a handle to replace the "backsaver" which rusted and well sucks IMHO. We ran across the Prohandle and emailed the inventer. It took a couple of weeks for him to get back to us but Frank is a great Guy and was eager to help. After a bunch of emails Frank came to the Daytona Beach shootout and met the folks at Kellyco while he had a table set up. We knew these handles would be the perfect handles for MD. These handles can be adjusted on the fly in the water depending on the digging conditions I might have mine either straight up or at a angle. I can fold it down when its in the Treasure mobile. Everything is stainless and Tooless. I am certain it won't break on you. Take a look at the prohandle.com website he lifts a engine with one and drives over it. I never found one in FL at a home Depot but the SKU is on the Prohanedle website.
I bought 5 from frank from his first run they are blue. Here is a Pic of it is mounted onto MTPockets scoop

F.Y.I.
Currently all 23 Home Depots, in Long Island, carry the ProHandle.
Ask your store manager to call Atlanta.

Re: does anyone use a "ProHandle"

I used the Beach Brute, then the Beach Brute II scoops, they take a big bite with its 8.5 inch wide x 6 inch high x 12 inch long basket, I have used several different styles of handles over the last three years, all of them combined could not come close to comparing to the PRO Handle. There is no give, no twist under heavy load, there is nothing you can lift by hand that will damage it, take my word for it, the weak link in your scoop will either be your scoop, or your arm, it will not be the Pro Handle that fails...... :headbang:

Thanks to Clyp and Pockets for turning me on to it.. :icon_thumright:
