Found this on craigslist yesterday and bought it for a short song! I know the sluice is a keene but have not been able to find any info on the pontoons or the pump. I had my brother go grab it for me since I am at work for 2 weeks. He is going to get me better pics of the pump later today.

Looks to be old to me and the pump is on a vertical shaft.

There is a stream sluice and a keene dredge box and all hoses etc with the package. The pump is what I am really interested in.

Thanks
Leni

It looks like the same orange Treasure Emporium use to use

ratled

Looks like i found a piece of dredging history. May be better to just hang it on the garage wall

Tehcumpse(spelling?) bottom pumper ,looks TE on a old school keene 2005 2 piece pole connected unit. History yes as pre/early 80s I believe as pieces and parts. Pump looks ancient P-90-hope it's metal and not plastic model. John

saw a guy on the river using the bottom sucker pump
he had built adjustable legs for it and was using it to power his highbanker

I think for the price I paid for it I may just hang it on the wall. Or I may clean it up and give it a shot, will see what kind of shape its in when I get home in 2 weeks! I am a sucker for old stuff :)

if you the floats are flexible not brittle I dont see any reason not to use it.

nice little pump,no priming and no footvalve and doesnt matter if the mechanical seal leaks a little!

Thanks. I will check it out when I get home Tuesday and see what she looks like in person. I may just have to give it a whirl as my brother said the plastic is still pliable and not brittle that he could tell. The pump is the plastic housing so I will check it over real good and see if its usable or not.

I found that same 3" dredge on my claim, it was abandon, motor was tight. I saved the sluice/header/front pontoon/jet and pump lost the back pontoon (it fell back down to creek and washed away) Ill get pics next weekend as it is at my camp.

I went to my claim today and got this pic for you. the crash box sluice jet log are being used by my partner atm.old2 (1).jpgold2 (1).jpgold2 (2).jpg
