Does anyone know what this stone is?

I found this stone near Redmond WA, but it is in glacial scree so may have come some distance [. It's a pretty blue-green. Does anyone know what it is?

If it's soft, perhaps soap stone or serpentine.

If you can scratch it with your fingernail more than likely it's Talc or like Bosnmate stated soapstone.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions, I took it to a friend to get their opinion on hardness in case I was too naive, but it is literally rock hard - scraping with my fingernail did nothing to the rock. Any other ideas?

Looks like a Green Quartz to me, not 100% sure though. Either way, cool rock!
