There should be a makers name on the underside of it. I have a Manoil firetruck that looks very similar.

I believe it is gonna be a Tootsietoy. Here is the same style truck, just not a wrecker. http://www.flickr.com/photos/pixelnaiad/2081703616/in/photostream/

Done a little more looking. Its definately Tootsietoy. Not sure of the date. Here is a pic and quote from a site I run across.

Lot: three metal trucks. Sinclair tootsietoy truck. Originally green, but obviously repainted, approx.6" long. Tootsietoy wrecker,it has been repainted, approx. 6" in long. Blue tootsietoy truck, approx. 4" in length.

Here is what the seller says.

TOOTSIE TOY 1947 INTERNATIONAL K5 TOW TRUCK & CAPRI CAR. Excellent original condition. Tow truck is 6" long and was made between 1948-1952. This car is a smashed roof rollover wreck Tootsie toy 2 door LINCOLN CAPRI made between 1953-1958 that measures 6" long. See pics for details.

Thanks for all the responses, I was unable to read all the writing on the inside but it was worn. Amazingly enough all the wheels are still intact except for the one axle is broke.
