Found this yesterday within 6 inches of a Fleur De Lis strap end and an 1853 large cent. It measures exactly 11/16 of an inch in diameter, has a number 30 stamped on it, and I think the word below it says SURE. There is printing around the rim, but it's to far gone to tell what it says. Blank and smooth on the other side, with no signs of attachments. It is also quite thin.. a tad bit over 1/32 of an inch.

Any chance that it is the back of 1 17.5mm coin button with SUPERFINE stamped in it? Could there have been a shank attached?

That's a good thought .. I will go back and double check.

This thing is driving me KNUTS! I went back and studied it again under the magnifier, and for the life of me can't make out anything that would indicate an attachment point.

Here are the rest of my finds:

Two things that come to mind; Counter-stamped tavern token or maybe a piece for gambling/placing a bet. Maybe it said "SURE BET"?
