I found what I -think- is a good deal on what I hear is a legendary machine. I found a White's Spectrum and should receive it in a few days. I'm not new to the hobby.
I must say, perusing the official White's manual I'm a bit overwhelmed at the options.
I'm looking for suggestions on best setup for depth and coinshooting.
I'm a bit confused at the "AC" and "DC" sensitivity settings. AC and DC as in alternating current and direct current?
Basically, I'm looking for sensitivity with stability. Which sensitivity setting do I tweak for additional depth?
And I'm hoping the LCD display can be seen in sunlight seeing as though it's early LCD technology.
I know it's old technology, but I've read VERY good things about this old machine.
I live in the midwest where ground mineralization is minimal.
