Does anyone have any information on this I found with my IDX Pro.
I think it reads one side..San Francisco Earthquake & Fire....Coins of the ? Scuvenir
Other side...April 18,1906 It has silver plated and size of a silver dollar.I don't think it is silver all the way through.
It was over 10" deep.

Bit more info...

According to Hibler & Kappen's book So-Called Dollars, pp. 48-49, there is apparently no record of who designed and struck these medals. At least four varieties are known to exist: silver (with reeded edge) silver plated, brass, and aluminum.

There are also a couple of related medals with Cliff House on the obverse. One shows the San Francisco Post Office on the reverse; the reverse of the other bears only a wreath & text.
