Man, it looks almost too good to be true...I would love to hear from some more folks that bit the bullet, and bought one.....Will it work as good as my trusty Ace 250 (with sniper) in the parks, and yards??? How about the weight???? Rivers, and lakes??? anyone got theirs wet yet.........?? I have a 1350, and a Land star that just gather dust.. Thanks everyone, and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL..........

i know how ya feel, i haven't seen or heard anything negative about the AT pro on dry land but haven't heard much about them in the water yet. i really love my GTI but would really like to have an AT pro for the few times i do hunt some water and just as a backup unit.

Check the two post Ive done on my AT Pro in this Garrett section on T net.
IMO, 1. The AT Pro is better than we talk about cause we'd rather be detecting than typing.
2. We are too tired to type, cause of all the digging of all the good deep targets we are finding.

Can't wait to get in the water with mine but these Arctic temps ;D we are getting here in Florida is making the water too cold for me. Yes...I know I'm a wimp and I barely ever seen snow and don't want to ever have to deal with what them Northerners have to go through up there right now. Going to go get some boots for the water and a new scoop and try to hit some of these lakes around here cause I want to know how it will do myself.

On land I don't think you can beat the AT Pro. It's worth more than what you pay for for the land use alone! But, I'm still going to salt water next week to see how it does there.

I know what you mean about the cold..I live on the gulf coast of Texas, near Galveston...I dont know how those guys up north do it, they are way tougher than I am, if it gets below 80 I freak out....PLEASE let us know how the water testing goes...I cant wait to try one out in a few fresh water holes, and lakes around here...Man im gonna hit the Trinity river area too...Yes, i think I have talked myself into it......

You freak out if it gets near 80 degrees, I start sweating when it gets above Forty. I used to dive under the ice to retrieve lost ice fishing equipment and snow mobiles. I am waiting for spring so I can get my AT Pro into the water again as it will be a nice addition to my fun toys.

Near Liberty, and Dayton there are some long stretches where people swim, and boat all the time..I know there are goodies just waiting to be found, plus I am going to hit the sand bars for petrified wood, and fossils...You have to have a boat to get to some of them..My cousin has done rather well over the years finding arrow heads, and fossils on the river....Im really ready to go...The water is nice, and clean in this area.......
