Here is how i build a 1.5" 12V PVC nozzle Dredge with $20 1000 GPA Bilge Pump ,Low cost ,Backpack ready, lightweight,Bedrock Sniper .
Dredge works great as a bedrock cleaner upper and can be used with smaller pvc attachments .

And here is how it works in creek .

hey man I like that thing that's thinking outside the box I been looking at a johson beige pump on the net they are prices about 150 bucks are bettte but I moves 4000gph I got have one now far sure oh am not far from Greenville am on lake greenwood would like to go we u guys some times

cool build. seems slower than a regular old shovel would be though so I am unsure what the point would be except to clean off bedrock. right?

Hey carnet56
You can cheaper on ebay , i just got a 3700 gph 12v pump for $60 there. Im testing it now , its great flow it will move lot more material ..... Bud ....its very heavy ,it needs 16Ah , so you need BIG battery , ( heavy ) and it still will not bring the material very high out of water , in 1.5" hose around 1-2 feet and thats it .
Now if you want move ALOT of material at water level or below, it works great .
This pumps are made move lot of water with very little pressure . The Big one have more push ( flow) bud when you put s jet on it you lose lot and no pressure means no pushing material OUT of water . :)
I made it so its as smallest and lightweight as possible for easy transport in backpack to places where after i dig hole in creek and cannot get the bottom with shovel , that's where this little pump will work best .

Thats exactly what i made it for ;) thanks

Well done, great tool for the intended purpose without over engineering it!
