This was without a doubt one of my best div's!I thought i had a weird looking toasted NY button.Then Butch (American digger magazine)looked at it and informed me it was actually a baked GA cuff!
Some times it is good to be wrong!Needless to say i was a bit surprised.You can barely see columns if you know what your looking at.I cannot get a good pick of it because of condition.Butch took several not sure how they turned out.So that was my best find.Also got a eagle C button finally.And it is one of the few buttons that has any guilt left.My only NY button met with a plow apparently but still looks ok.(wish eagles were so well made)Also got eagle eye cuff,coat,and poncho buttons.And of course beat gen service buttons.
Had a strange diamond shaped brass thing no one id'd yet.Grommets,button backs,triangle shaped base off something(found these before forget name),2 broke j hooks,and a few other odds and ends.Also got a belt adjuster.Bullet wise i got a modified 69 and "pressed and turned"(book calls it that i forget what real people call them) mini ball with a number stamped on top above rim.This is hard to see even with your eye much less my crappy camera.Also seamed to have the William's cleaners dialed in.This was one of my better hunts.Now if i could just find a fire pit with something actually in it.(2 buttons,3 broken bottles,a few iron bits,barrel bands and crap.opened up 3 pits.Darn plows anyway)I had a blast and thank John and Rose for inviting me.
