Someone heeeeeelllllppppppppp :P
We have a problem with the cable,if you touch the cable where it is pluged,detector starts making sounds,it screams like crazy, i think the cable has a problem,and alot of times when the coil touches the grass it gives false alarms...like its screaming everytime the coil touches something...:/

Sounds like a short in the wire / connector.

Its probably it...well one more lession learned..never buy used detectors

often times it can be repaired, sometimes its real easy others you have a bit more is involved.

i almost threw it into the sea this morning... its beepin on air...i contaced the dude and told him i want a refund..he said no probs...im gonna buy a new ace 250...hope it will be better...

Sorry to hear that it went south. you might take it to a dealer for assessment, may be cost effective to have repaired.

i would it there is any service in my country..., there isnt even a store where u can buy them,its also illegal to use metal detectors. but people use it anyway
