Disappointing start to 2008

Well at least I got out. Started 2008 like I ended 2007, disappointing finds.
Hit some lots in Phoenix and didn't find even a wheat penny. Got a bunch of clad (not pictured). Found an older earring, an AZ tax token,,. silver plated spoon and some shell casings.
Of interest is the Gebhardt Eagle bottle. On the other side it says chili powder. I believe the bottle dates to the 1940s or 1950s.
The copper item next to the rifle casings is a heavy object that reads:
'Victor'
'O' (at least it looks like that or maybe it's a'0')
'Pet-G'
I googled all that but couldn't find anything about it.

Hopefully next outing on Monday afternoon will produce more.

Good idea...I get so wrapped up in trying to find something good....my wife wonders why I even go out if I'm disappointed I don't find something 'good;.

It's used on a Oxygen/Acetylene torch for flame cutting metal

Don't discouraged. I don't even have time to get out at all. The few times I have got out so far this year only produced a bunch of wheat cents and a silver Rosie. I would be happy just to be out digging, even with no finds. After all, it is only a hobby!
