Disapearing tone hit

For those that are new to this like me, I have found a few times that I have gotten a good hit with my AT pro. However, after digging it, it has disappeared and no matter what I tried I lost it. Sometimes to move on. Well the other day, I had a few like that but kept at it figuring that something was there. Yup found the dime...it apparently got put on end when I was digging and for some reason wasn't being picked up. I also lost one but was like where did it go... Well it was stuck on my digging tool. You learn from your mistakes...lol newbies...

Yep...done that too...lost the target..filled back in the hole then target appears again...I usually start taking handfuls at a time and just hold.. that in front of my coil till it shows up...I do hate to dig something and not find it...lol

On the disappearing tone..... Sometimes if you'll stomp the ground in the signal area it will turn the coin enough to bring back a signal.
