I took a ride to one of Dekalb's suburbs today and hunted a small park for three hours.
I found 42 clads, another boyscout tie clasp, and this silver ring.
The ring shows 4 children [dutch I think] holding hands.
Best luck, Merf

P.S.- After replacing a plug sometimes a little dirt still shows around the edges.
Lately I have been tearing off a little of the nearby grass and covering the dirt.
The untrained eye would not even know I had been there.

Cool ring.

You could always carry a plastic bag to put the soil on & then funnel it back in the hole.

Maybe Ed should leave his yard for a bit! :D Look at all those keepers! 8)

Great hunt, Merf! Congrats! Nana :)

Cool ring Merf. Congrats to you.
-MM-
P.S. Great tip on the grass. Snoope Dogg would be proud of you. ;D

Some really good finds there.

Pretty cool finds! Those kids sure do have big feet! Hmmm, big feet = more silver!

Was that ring found by a mallberry bush? ;D ;D ;D ;D

Congrats Merf....

Nice ring!

It's always nice to find a silver ring. That one is definitely different!

Congrats!

Yes Bob, and I saw the monkey chasing the weasel.
[Might have been a flashback]

I always get the dirt back in the hole Crusader---I am referring to the seam where the plug is cut.

as far as dirt goes i use whites suggested method.lay small cloth next to target lay plug a
nd dirt on this.works good because no dirt in grass plus target sometimes falls out on cloth and is easy to see .ramblimsam
