Headed to Edmonton, Canada tomorrow. Are the metal detecting rules / regulations much different there then they are here in WA State?

Google the DNR for Canada if they have one and read their rules. Every place is different.

Rules up here are pretty much the same .. I go to Edmonton regularly.. never had a problem. The usual common sense rules apply [fill holes, etc. etc].. but come on up and enjoy.

If you ever have the time and get the chance, come to B.C. in the Kootenays.. lots of old ghost towns and drowned towns up here
