I don't usually do much land hunting in the summer, but i saw this street in one of the older neighborhoods with the grass scraped off, couldn't helpmyself!!! LOL
Got my first flying eagle cent 1858, 2 silver washington quarters 1946 and 1951d, 3- mercs 1945, 1942, 1917s, about 45 wheats lots of dates in the teens and 20s'. and a 1913 type II buffalo.

Artifacts- a sterling barrel shaped match safe? St Louis railway token, and a 1919 Chicago vehicle tax tag 35 hp or less.

I can't wait to find one of those! Every time I pull up an old penny, I say a quick prayer that it's a flying eagle. it never is . . . Maybe today!

Fantastic finds.That is really taking advantage when a siyuation presents itself.That site could be covered in concrete or fill tommorrow and great finds are gone until the next Demo job.

Man, what a nice flying eagle...seen several posts already folks finding them recently. Trying to find my first. Congrats on the mercs and wheats, buffalo and the rest of those finds....HH
