Mr. Aquila and I hit the fields nearby. This was the same field area where Aquila found half of the British - Anglo-Saxon Penny coin couple of days ago.

Now we tried to find the other half of the coin, but did not succeed. However I found something worth reporting.
I scanned area of discovery of the penny, but found nothing but junk. Finally I got extremely good signal. No silver there but I found this large copper.
Russian 5 kopek 1769
This kind of coin is called as Catherine's cookie (CATHERINE II the Great of Russia). It is not rare or valuable, but very unusual find in this part of Finland.
After that I dug up some junk. Then I got a good signal again and and start digging. I expected to find a coin, but there were an old looking medallion. It was muddy and stuck in closed position. After gently cleaning I was able to open it and was positively surprised. It wasn't a medallion, but a small Russian diptych type Orthodox Icon.
I sent picture of the icon to specialist and he said that icon is from late 18th century.
On left side there is “Our Lady of the Sign” (Holy Mary and Child Jesus) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_the_Sign
On right side there are three saint characters. The rightmost character is Archangel Michael. Basil of Caesarea (Saint Basil) is in the middle. Leftmost saint is unidentified. He is some priest with chalices.
These two were my best finds of the day. Here is total haul of this hunt.
