"Dinkie Car Derby" and a good deed
I went to to a local beach this morning.... it was foggy and dark and still dry. No one around. Perfect.
I start working it, found a bit of clad... then I ran into a toy car. A foot away, another, and another, sometimes two at a time. By the end of it, I was just shaking my head... feeling sorry for the poor kid who left these behind.
I started shoving them into my bag when I thought, "Maybe these will make a less fortunate kid happy".
I put em on a tree, for the lucky 'lil feller, whoever he may be.
Before the torrential rain hit me, I found a dog tag, and what looks like to be a copper toe ring (or just a piece of junk).
(Shaped like a fire hydrant... oooh Koda, who's a good boy!? )
I got home and contacted the owner via text and I'm going to drop it off to him/her tomorrow.
Now come on universe, send a gold coin this way.
