Has anyone ever made any kind of digging tools or scoops
or modified any and if the answer is yes please post the
specs & photo's of said items.

Please don't think I'm being short with you TreasureHunter but I noticed that this same question gets asked at least once a week by a new person. But this will save you allot of trouble that I wish someone had told me about when I was first new here. If you spend $20.00 to become a charter member here one of the benifits is the search ability. (before you ask , No I have no connection and stand to benefit in no way) But you'll save a world of time asking these same newbie questions that we have all asked. Also in cases like this you'll see a whole lot more designes than the one or two your question might get responses from. And as a side note Like you I'm almost tempted to go into production myself after seeing what they charge for the comercial diggers.

There's a pic of one I'd made from a screwdriver & flatwasher posted in the Great Ideas forum. Here's another I made from a piece of 1"X1" angle & a piece of 3/4" iron pipe. Haven't had the need for a sand-scoop.

Here is a pic of one of my water scoops that I use when cleaning beaches of trash and paper. It has a 3/8" screen and a flat scraper. Handle is 6 ft. because you don't push on it, you pull it toward you. We use this because there is fabric under the sand.

i made a hand sifter out of PVC pipe and a vent screen also made of pvc
I use it on the breach.
ill add a pic later
