Diggin' In Virginia

If you want a chance of attending a real, unsalted Virginia relic hunt run by honest folks who are licensed and insured to do business in Virginia, you might want to consider checking out DIV. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary this spring. The proof is in the results folks! Take a look at
My Treasure Spot. Once there scroll down to the Diggin' in Virginia forum and take a look around. Make a post and introduce yourself.

We are often COPIED but we are NEVER equaled and that's a FACT....ask anybody!

Ahhh .. I thought all the spots were full for this years hunt.. and even the reserve list is pretty long as well ...

All the Spring slots are filled Jeff but we will be holding hunts in the Fall and I'm working on a couple new sites as we speak.

John and Rose run a first class hunt! I've been fortunate enough to be invited to three in the past, and can't wait to get the detector fired up at next month's hunts. :headbang: The relics are great but more importantly the people you meet are outstanding. If any of you are invited to a future DIV, be prepared for those three days to be the highlight of your relic hunting season.

I am willing to bribe someone for an invite. I really will not be able to enjoy this in 20 years when I finally make it off the waiting list LOL. I can offer transportation from Georgia and the surrounding areas

Jeff,

My advice to you if you are interested in being invited to a DIV would be to get active on their website, so people over there can get to know you a bit.... as that's where the organizers and the folks who do the selections are hanging out.

There are quite a few guys from the Georgia area who come to these hunts, maybe you can get with one or a few of them to carpool north if you are selected. :)

(Just a little side note, though...the ground at most of these sites is super hot! You don't have to have a Pulse Induction machine to hunt at them, but the guys who are finding the most and best items are usually carrying one.)

Nobody likes me every body hates me guess I'll go eat worms ..

Don't feel like the lone ranger Jeff! I'm wanting to go in the fall myself! Maybe one day it will happen.

Get over to the Spot and register and wait for the opportunity to register for the hunt. They do tend to invite a lot of repeat hunters because they know they'll commit and pay on time and give no grief. I've been lucky to go to every one I've registered for, the first I was an alternate and was selected, the others I was on the main list.

I haven't been in a year because I've had too much going on with my family's health, but I plan to sign up for the fall hunts.

The folks who put on DIV are first class. They do lots of research & legwork to make sure the sites are prime locations. The quality of the finds is incredible. Anything from belt plates, swords, bullets, buttons, to bottles.

Yes, I made it in first hunt this year! Had a great time and hope to hunt in fall. Thanks, Walt
