Diggin' in the chips

Went to a couple of parks to let the little one run around a bit, and took the (mainly relic hunting) MXT along for the ride. For a total of about 1.5 hours, I came out with three lincoln cents, a .925 ring, and (believe it or not) a flippin' reciprocating (sp) saw blade.

Now, who in the world would let their kid lose a saw blade in the wood chips. Make the little buggers leave their tool belts in their car seats.........

I'll try to get a pic posted later. Got to take the little one back to her mother..................

Congrats on the silver ring Roger.
Glad you got out with the kid too.
I find all kinds of crazy stuff in the chips.
It's good you found it and get it out of there
so no little kiddie hurts thamselves on it.

Smiles!

Congrats. Wood Chips are amazing, you can find alot. I have found a old Peters Shotgun Shell in one. It was an elementary school. ???

Good finds with good speed. Just shows you don't need all day to find something to make you happy.
It's amazing how many weird sharp things are actually in playgrounds! I'd be shocked if I was a parent letting my kids loose around some of it.

The blaade was probably left over from the installation of the play equip. Then covered with chips.
