Hi all from Fairfax, Va. Just curious. Every time I drive up Rt. 270 to 70 in Maryland, I see these big farmlands. I bet most of the landscape hasn't changed much from the Civil War. I have always wondered if all that land has been detected on. Its all private. Anyone ever been digging out there? About three years ago, I was driving past the Monacy Battlefield, (spelled Monacy wrong) and they were just starting grading the land about 5 miles past it. I wished I could stop, but had to business in Frederick. Anyway, if anyone knows let me know. Thanks. Going on my first dig Mon am In Winchester, I hope. Gotta be back and watch the Nationals opening game.
