Seems too small and delicate to be used on animals or machinery. Made of copper or brass, no maker's markings. Thank you for any help you can provide. Sub 8-)

Kinda looks like a chain from the old chain lift type water pumps. Had small cups/buckets on the chain?

By the size and materials (brass or copper) I’d have to say it’s a folk art bracelet. It’s simply not strong enough for any mechanical application.

Possibly from a hanging lamp. This one is 1930's (ish) but they were popular from the late 19th C well into the 20th.
