Hit on a deeply buried cultivator point, either a doorknob base or possibly a shifter knob base, then the tool. I’m guessing it’s a starter crank for a vehicle or tractor. Looks like an old brace but I’ve never seen one with this type tip. Then I found the necklace. I’ll post more info on it separately. Thanks

I’m thinking the knob went on an old rim lock.
 

Hi BF my apologies. Mechanisms were in a box housing mounted on the door. Locked like a deadbolt. I think but may be wrong that a lot of them were cast iron.
