Got out last night for the first time in a few weeks. Been hunting this place since 2003 and still finding decent coins. Last night, got an 1863 Indian Head, 1864 Copper Indian Head and my second ever Seated Dime. Got my first one a few weeks ago. That one was an 1891-O. Last nights was quite a surprise. I got a nickel hit that I almost wasnt going to dig because it was shallow but I am glad I did decide to dig. Popped the plug and pin pointer said still in the hole, so I scooped the dirt out and now the pin pointer said still in the hole, but need to widen the hole. When I pulled that clump out, I could see silver and it was on its side, not laying flat. Out of the clump comes and 1877-S seated dime in pretty decent condition. Liberty is strong. Trying to post a photo but my camera phone is really bad.

What about that nickel though? Pin pointer said in the original plug. Turns out it was a very worn and beat up flat button.
