Didn't go where I wanted, but it paid off anyway
I had planned on going to a friends house in Sebring,Fl. today.Long story short,I ended up searching the yard of a stranger(friend of friend in Sebring) in Clewiston.I ended up finding 5q's,15d's,7n's and 7p's in clad.I also found 2 silver dimes('64 and '48) and 2 war nickels('43 and '44).I found an old toy car in the corner of one of the outbuildings,i'm gonna post it in the "what is it?"board, along with the rock pendant that I also found it has some sort of symbol on it.My friend Brian did pretty good himself with a '64 q. a '63 dime and several wheaties. This place was probably better than the 1st.place we were gonna detect although I still plan on going there and back here as well. This is the best place i've hunted in a long time.I am excited as I can be with the aspect of going back there.I know we've only scratched the surface, there's bound to be more silver there. The owner told us they used to shoot craps (dice) behind the barn years ago, that's where we found the silver.Good luck to all and H.H.-diggummup
