Stir crazy sure comes on fast. Especially when the weather keeps getting in the way of getting out. However, the sun was out today and even though it was cold. I dressed in my coat of many layers and got out to play in the mud for about an hour or so.

Like I said, didn't find much. Another lantern wick holder, a square piece that my digger says tasted like lead. ;)
A solid copper wire, (more copper than what's in the 2 zincolns.) A trusty ole shootin' iron, (that has very little iron in it).

The most interesting thing today was the black, half disk thingy. I'm confused what it might've been. It's non-magnetic, has some design on one side, very thin, the back is pretty much blank, has a slight bevel to the backside edges and what I thought was lettering around the edge on the front looks more like it's just a design. So, another thing that defines my name as it made me say it, again! WHADIFIND this time!?!?!

LOL

I kinda think it's a seal of some sort. But, what would be sealed with a metal insert like this? :icon_scratch:

Anyway, I got out! I feel soooo much better now! Won't be any problem sleeping tonight! :)

Thanks for peeking!

Well, I know next to nothing about toy guns but this one is very ornately decorated and the whole thing seems to be non-magnetic. I believe that if I had a steel spring for the trigger, this thing could be made to work. Almost no rust and the trigger/hammer are free. I'm guessing not that old? No maker's marks.

I know the feeling. I got out a few days ago and found close to nothing but it was still great to get out and swing the coil. BTW - That 1/2 disc thing looks kind of interesting.

Yep. I don't "have" to go out every day. In fact, I made sure I stopped trying to do that because the hobby was becoming work. I won't go now unless I really feel like going out to find treasures. If I do otherwise I just lose focus and start getting sloppy. But, after a few days when I "can't" go out, I just gotta get my fix. :)

That half disk thing, I think I'll post on What is it? It's interesting enough to check.

Thanks!

HH!
