Didn't expect much at a Wednesday garage sale, but I was wrong!

I was running errands out of town last Wednesday when I spotted a garage sale opening up. This was a pretty rural area and I thought "On a Wednesday?" I pulled in not expecting much, but the hump day was good to me. I scored this old Canco copper canning bath with original rack for $30. I was stoked, as I have always wanted one. I also found these three small saucers. The woman told me that her mother had passed away and she hand painted these many years ago. The picture does not do them justice, they are outstanding. I also found this .925 playboy bunny anklet (broken) and this .925 silver and turquoise pendant/earring combo. The woman said they were just junk pieces that her mother had. I paid $.50 for the saucers and, $.25 for the anklet and believe it or not only $.05 for the pendant/earring combo. She said they were gaudy and out of style and they had not sold at their last garage sale, so she just wanted to be rid of them. It was an outstanding garage sale and I scored very nicely.

Happy Hunting!

Greg

Nice! I've had my eyes open for black opal for some time. You just stumble onto a nice black opal set for .05. I'm jealous.
