Didn't buy anything but---
I feel a little strange starting a thread where I didn't pick anything.
My arm surgery was done on Friday and went well even though it took twice as long as the surgeon thought. It will be a few weeks before I can drive and do any lifting with it. Between the pain and pain killers I am getting along. Feeling cooped up I took the bus to my local TS to satisfy the craving to hunt that we all can relate to.
Walking up and down the aisles I was looking just to look and not buy since I didn't want to carry anything. There were a few things I saw that I would have normally bought. I guess the pain med helped me avoid any compulsive buys.
As I was looking around I ran into the store manager who said when he saw arm immobilized said, "You were in here a couple of days ago WTF happened?"
I explained to him my story at which point he rolled up his arm sleeve and he showed me where he had surgery 3 different times. We had a pretty long conversation afterwards.
Maybe I didn't buy anything today but got a good connection at the store.
