Over a find or in anticipation of a hunt?

Lemme tell ya - on my way into work this morning, I passed a location that I INSTANTLY decided was going to be my first "Must Ask Permission" hunt spot. I've got plenty of "Must Hunt" locations lined up, but I pretty much already have permission to hunt them (or know that I will without issue). But this place I saw today is gonna require a 'cold call pitch' to hunt.

And the sight of the place make my knees weak and my stomach knot!
I'll grab a pic of the place and post it here so that you folks can tell me whether it's a false alarm or not.
I only sorta saw it as I drove by - so I can't wait to get a better view of it.

But anyways - Anyone ever get weak-kneed with excitement during or prepping for a hunt?

aw but of course! lol Best of luck to you in obtaining permission. Will be very interesting I am sure if it gets that kind of response out of you.

Go to a doctor and have your knees check out. It sounds like you have to much jello in your system and need some jello removing medication so that you won't need a knee replacement operation.

I made three trips to my truck yesterday on a rock hounding trip. I used a ruck sack loaded down with rocks and the three loads add up to about one hundred and fifty pounds. My knees, are doing OK for a sixty one year old.

Usually after trekkng about 1 or 2 miles carrying all the necessary gear, I need a few Dammitols to get going once I get to the sight in such places I'm already wet and muddy before I get there.

Now get that new machine and go get the goodies!

Good luck!

huuuuUUUHHH?!

No guys! (and gals!)

That's not what I'm talkin' about!

Do ya ever get weak in the knees......It was a figure of speech.....like a kid excited on Christmas morning! Like when you get deployed and come back & see your wife & kids! Like you're all-grown-up little girl coming home after her first semester away at college!

Not to say MD is equivalent to that.....I'm just giving an analogy.
Do ya ever get so excited about what you've found or what you're researching that you get GIDDY?

LOL  Sounds like its time to put the research tools away and get out there. Not much snow left now.60's all weekend ..gonna be great :icon_sunny:

Too jaded I guess. I only get giddy on line talking about it. I mean buttons and bow tie-third-base assured prom night 1955 giddy! Like I just stepped into a giant angel food cake with my mouth open giddy! teeheehee giddy!

I get all weak kneed every time I see a gold ring down in the hole. Then pull it out and it's one of those gosh darn gold colored pull tabs I am seeing more of lately! M ::) nty
