did rogers ever make silverware out of silver, or was it all plated?

I have some rogers spoons that are marked IS. Are they silver or plated?

Probably plated.

no probly about it..they are plated... the IS is more then likely international silver company

I added the "probably" because I think, when Rogers first joined up with IS, they did a few "combination" pieces. (but I don't think it was flatware).

I personally have not seen any that was not plated.

Personally - I haven't either - I was told quite awhile back that when they first went with IS, they did some, but marked them with a "948" on them. (though, I cannot seem to find any on the 'net.)
