State of Florida proposed Salvage Rule Change......Request Help!

Dear Fellow Treasure Hunters,

Our legal rights for shipwreck salvage within State waters are at risk!

We need your help to show our opposition to the proposed changes to the State of Florida’s Rule 1A-31.

Please go the to the following link: http://www.melfisher.com/SalvageLaw for complete information.

We are asking everyone to please take a few minutes of your time and send a comment to the State of Florida showing you are against the proposed changes in rule 1A-31 and that you support responsible commercial salvage of historic shipwrecks within Florida’s State waters.

We only have until October 17th so please act soon and get everyone you know to send a comment!

Thank You!

The Mel Fisher Team

theres a powergrab going on -- under the "new" rules to merely even look for a "possible" wrecksite --say drag a mag in the ocean looking for possible large iron deposit hits or run a sonar scan --would require you to fill out and pay for a exploration permit * ie you have to pay to even attempt to find something * -- currently-- you--drag mag or sonar scan --find something "interesting" you go look at your find -- you "eyeball" the wreck --if it looks worthwhile THEN YOU PONY UP SOME CASH GET A "LOOK & SEE (touch)" PERMIT AND CHECK HER OUT MORE FULLY -- then if it pans out you go for the salvage permit .

this makes you pay to merely attempt to look --99% of wrecks are useless cash value wize to salvors --maybe 1 out of 100 is worthwhile to them ---now if you make them buy 99 useless want to look permits to get 1 usefull one you can see what that leads to . bankruptcy --its just not fiscally doible on a steady basis.

You lost it, I found it, its mine. Simple right? It is until you let *explicative deleted* bureaucrats who want to dip their greedy little hands into everyone else's pockets.

Sigh, I hate this country sometimes...Please forgive my mood.
