Did a little huntin' with LI Tom today...
If I have it right, Tom's one or two silver away from 50 on the year. Well, if wheaties were silver, he would have had an awesome day
He pulled something like 8 of them amidst a ton of trash in the picnic area of a local state park; where we've both picked up silver in the past. I started out with the stock 10.5" but decided the 8" was the way to go. We had been there a couple of hours when I hit a good signal peeking through some trash near an old tree. Dug down only 2 to 3" and found a '48 Washington of all things. Didn't think there were any quarters left Weather doesn't look too good this weekend and snow's comin' in tomorrow. Looks like this might have been our last hurrah for a while...
