hey all,
boy, we had an awesome weekend here !
had some friends of ours up from Gettysburg who wanted to try their hand at colonial detecting here in central pa, they're into civil war relic hunting down near the battlefield AND they are BIG into ghost hunting
so I remembered an old, unoccupied 1850's home on one of our detecting sites and contacted the farmer to get permission to do a little ghost hunting friday nite - he said "sure go ahead" and actually ended up tagging along with us and about 8 other people while our friends conducted an investigation of the home - the place was huge, old and spooky beyond belief - it was a BLAST, definately one of those nights you don't soon forget !
anyway we took them out to a couple sites the next day and showed them what to look for when hunting colonial spots
i found an 1803 large cent and the most lead i think for me ever for a single day
great weekend all the way around
thanks for looking
