The ground has been frozen solid for about two weeks now, so I've been left with trying to spot stuff by eye. Yesterday, while getting some supplies from the storeroom at work, my eye caught something shiny on the top shelf of the cabinet. I reached up and found a diamond tennis bracelet! It was marked 10K and looked well made - my best find ever! Sorry for the bad picture - I only had my camera phone.
I posted an email for my group at work and found the very happy owner this morning. She had just lost it recently while helping someone pack up an office and had figured it was packed away. She gave me the specifics about the total carat weight of 2 ctw and said it originally cost over $500. It felt great to give it back to the owner, but I sure wish my best find would be out in a field somewhere and not in an office!
