✅ SOLVED diamond ring?

I found this in the parking lot. I have never seen such a small band. I was wondering 1) what it was (or, was part of?); 2) if there's a chance this is a real diamond or just cubic zirconia; and 3) worth taking to a jeweler? advice?.

I am sorry the pictures suck, it was the best I could do with something so small and my iPhone.

Stamp: "925" (sterling silver?)
