Well my trusty DFX has come through again with my 3rd gold ring of the year. (plus a gold necklace, a gold bracelet and a couple of gold charms).
It was my good karma day as I found the ring in a park I didn't intend to hunt today. I was off and running at 6:30a heading for some parks that I had not hunted. Was doing pretty well and heading for another of my new parks. The directions from the web site gave me a numbered street to turn on. What the instructions didn't say was that the numbered street also had a regular name. it was the regular name that was on the street sign, so I missed the turn. By the time I realized my mistake I was close to a park I've hunted before, so I figured why not. I hadn't been there 5 minutes when I got a 30 tone. Since it was a playground I dig everything, and sure enough out popped this nice 10K men's ring.
Other finds included a Disney toy, a junk ring (silver plated copper) and 110 clad coins totalling $6.99.
