It’s been working very well for me at picking the iron out of them nasty ferrous signals. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1606067503.871977.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1606067519.436176.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1606067562.572023.jpgi have a new favorite find.

These are pieces of a cannon, right? I think I have seen your other posts about it. Really cool!!

I’ll be back on later for stories.

Im in my cellar cleaning the cannon and noticed the big nut looks severed on one side, but the other side looks as though they threaded the nut .then pounded the threads flat.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1606089913.147586.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1606089933.917714.jpg

It’s a three year story.over on today’s finds I have a cannon thread :I can’t recall who but someone posted a link to the original post.thanks for looking it’s been a real cool adventure for me.

Have you had a chance to return to the hill lately to hunt?

Must have blown up

Yes I found another piece of barrel I’m hoping to put everything together this weekend and do a photo/measuring session.I think with what I have now the fine folks over in the what is it section will help with Identification.

Nice find!!! "D"

Great find Joe. Good decision digging that noise. I know I would have kept right on walking.
