Im in my cellar cleaning the cannon and noticed the big nut looks severed on one side, but the other side looks as though they threaded the nut .then pounded the threads flat.

Yes I found another piece of barrel I’m hoping to put everything together this weekend and do a photo/measuring session.I think with what I have now the fine folks over in the what is it section will help with Identification.
