Last weekend I was hunting around a 1790ish house with a bunch of barns and other outbuildings.
I initially got permission maybe 15 years ago, then the owner died, and I recently re-acquired permission from the old owner's son to look around again. I've hit this property with my XLT, Spectra V3i, last summer with the Deus and now recently with the Deus II. Last summer I was able to find a handful of Indian heads and an 1836 capped bust half dime in the front yard with the Deus.
Tried out the Deus II last weekend and had some good success finding a few interesting coins. I was using the Sensi FT program as the yard is loaded with iron. Most of these were signals that showed decent numbers one way but had iron tones the other way. Pretty much all of the coins were found with iron bits in the same hole. I am certain that I walked over all of these targets with my other machines. Not 100% sure on the first large coin but I think it's one of those Canadian Bank Tokens.
Thanks for looking!
