Back story... This place we went to I was taken to 25 years ago by a local club member who said they had hunted it many times but I might get lucky...
Me and my partner stopped here on our way to somewhere else thinking we would tool around here for a few minutes, without much expectations..
First coin I dug was a regular dime, but the second coin was the Roosevelt Dime... I was SHOCKED to say the least thinking this place had been cleaned out years ago...
I will tell you that when I walked out on the lawn in front, it became immediately clear that the ground was loaded with targets, Iron and other crappy shit, after 5 minutes of that I set the descrim up to basically pennies and just watched the numbers...
Then I got a HIGH tone that was bouncing around and I started to dig, and the first thing I pulled out was a rusted nut...
But the machine was still reading off high in the hole so I kept digging and using my pinpointer to locate whatever it was...
Suddenly a BIG WHITE disc rolled out and into the hole and I almost had a heart attack... My friend with his Minelab 800 could not really pick up a lot of the targets I was getting although I did not swap the HALF signal with him so I don't know about that one...
Thanks for looking everyone..

The Deus 11 is a "game changer" for sure. I re-hunted many of my go to spots which I thought were cleaned out. I had a hard time believing that I had missed so many targets. Sounds like you have it figured out!

Awesome!!! Congrats!!! The Deus2 is pulling Silvers where I would least think possible too!

I've had the DEUS II for a couple of years and its clear that it can pick targets out of Iron infested areas.. and also it can separate good high targets from other lower targets, I won't be changing machines anytime soon.
Waiting for that DEUS II Elliptical coil that is coming out..

To say I was Shocked is an understatement ..

Wow ... that's amazing - congrats on the great finds ! :icon_thumleft:

I agree 100% with what your saying about the Deus 2 "waking up" old sites !
I got my D2 about three weeks ago and I've been going back to some of my old "hunted out" heavy iron sites.
So far I've found a KG 2 Half Penny, a Barber Dime and (14) Indian Cents.
To say the least, I'm very impressed with the D2.

Good Hunting !

Very nice! a walker always make the day brighter
This is kinda like "Always a bridesmaid never a Bride" Always a half dollar never a dollar .... hahaha
I've probably dug 10 silver halves if I include Ben Franklins and Kennedy's over the years... not sure exactly.. but NEVER a silver dollar..

Woo hoo, Christmas came early for you!

Crusader was an early Deus fan and his totals were always impressive. I figured it was because he was in England, detector heaven. Now I’m seeing more and more impressive results with the Deus 2 stateside. Hmmm?🤔 I just might get one.

FANTASTIC FINDS :) Thank you foir sharing with us :)
