Updated: Deus Finds (Another) First Silver Quarter

The Deus found my first silver quarter this weekend (first one ever). I have been looking for that quarter for about (6) months. I found (2) silver rings too, but I am not really into jewlery, they are posted in "Todays Finds".

I have had the machine for (9) days. At first it was really tough, I found (50) bottlecaps and (5) coins.... that really discouraged me. The ratio has gotten better, I started comparing the targets using a different frequency, however, being unsure, I still dig a lot of junk, just to make sure that I am not missing anything good. As I get more used to the sounds, I am sure that I will do better.

I appreciate all the encouragement and support from you fellow Deus users.

Big silver congrats! Checking bottlecaps by changing frequency is the only way I do it now...has not once failed me....be advised; if you lock on to a target next to a bottlecap you should be able to see a different VDI if it's shallow enough AND the freq change method will show you have a good target. Congrats CTom!

Updated... Another Quarter!

I went out last night (day 13 w/ the Deus) to practice.... and found another quarter! That is 2 quarters in 5 days.

I have been running Basic 1 with the Disc down to 6. I have tried to stick to Basic 1, so as to learn the machine.

The AT Pro never found a quarter, but found 10 dimes. The Deus has not found a dime, but has found 2 quarters. Statistically speaking this is almost impossible. I know that it is just a coincidence, but it sure seems odd. I'm not complained though!

I am feeling better about the Deus with each hunt.

Hopefully this weekend will yield some more silver.

Nice Tom! Silver dimes should soon follow. I rarely find silver quarters, but I found 3 so far this year.
