Hey guys,
Picked up a Deus to overcome the Safari's challenges with iron infested homestead sites and was not disappointed. I had hit this site in the past with my minelab, but was unable to pick through the layers of iron that remained from a home that burn down shortly after the civil war. After configuring the machine to full tones to mimic my minelab, it certainly did not disappoint. The site turned up the original wrought iron rim lock, a spoon, door knobs, water pump component, buckles, and a two piece button. After venturing out onto the adjacent hunting property, fantastic coins began popping out of the ground. The day's count was 6 wheaties, 4 indians, and a buffalo nickel. While the Deus doesn't stand up well against the minelab on mineralized shorelines, it definitely dominates inland.
