Just wondering if anyone has watched the show Detectorists?
Its a Quirky/Nerdy British Comedy about members of the DMDC (Danbury Metal Detecting Club) which find themselves in all kinds of humorous situations.
There are two of the three seasons on Netflix.
Its pretty Entertaining...

yeh, actually a pretty decent show.

I'm glad it wasnt another reality soap opera. Its more like a sitcom really.

I had no idea there were more people like me

Yea, Ive watched the whole series so far a couple times now, and its still interesting/funny.
looking forward to the 3rd and final season coming out..

Third season is out, but needed another subscription to something, in addition to amazon prime to watch.

Kinda bummed there's only 3 seasons. .....But I liked it, so it doesnt surprise me to see it go the way of Firefly.

I was happy to see it was about treasure nerds like me, rather than dwelling on the technical.

Just good goofy British fun. Actually, I had to turn on subtitles for the first episode, till i could retune my ears and understand people talk.

I watch Firefly once a year. Re-watching in now actually

Watched the whole 3rd season on Amazon acorn TV. I loved it! 3rd season was my favorite of the 3. Such a good show.

In one of the extras to Season 3, writer/director Mackenzie Crook doesn't dismiss the idea of doing a fourth season or a special if the right story line occurs to him, so there is hope. A great, gentle show about relationships, emotional treasure, and, almost incidentally, detecting. Watching Detectorists and Time Team brought a lifelong itch to the fore, and when a good deal came up on a used detector, I jumped on it.

I expected a Christmas special Showing what happened After the big Find.

sound quality is bad. at least for me.
